[anya's back in the ballroom on saturday evening! it looks like she's grabbed a book from the library and she's even going to be humming along with the background music at this point, because she's gotten to know the song so well. she's in the middle of moving a chair from the dining table to set it up riiiight in front of the tall tall windows -
when she notices hunter passing by for whatever reason]
[He’s wandering around the unlocked rooms again, a little bit uncertain of what else to do at this point. Maybe that’s part of the reason why that, as soon as he hears her speaking to him, he turns with a smile, nodding.]
[It's late in the evening when Hunter leaves the mansion again to get some air. He's... Hm, taken a set of pool cues from the billiards room and is using them as makeshift crutches. The reason for that is clear enough; one of his legs is gone from the knee down. Which isn't exactly rare this week, but he doesn't seem like he's looking for it at all, either. Weird.
Either way, he's distracted by Anya's socked foot hopping along past him. On instinct, he takes one of the pool cues and sets it down quickly on the sock so it can't Escape. Once that's done, he glances her way.]
And it's completely wrecked, from the looks of it. Hunter, in patchwork clothing with straw falling out of it for whatever reason, surveys the damage as he takes a step inside, his expression concerned.]
What could have happened in here...?
[He glances Anya's way with a small frown, wanting to see how she's taking this in.]
[ . . . . . She looks at his clothes and is curious - but then she decides she'll ask after dealing with the mess.
she's just as concerned. it shows on her face, but it doesn't stop her from moving forward, carefully stepping around things and picking up the train of her dress just in case]
You think she might have been in here near curfew...?
[It isn't exactly a happy thought. He didn't know her too well, but she seemed sweet, and this... With a sigh, he turns towards Anya. If she knows that much about her...]
But like I said, it's pretty temporary. Peach helped me find stuff I could use as crutches, too, so it's all good. [...] Speaking of which, though, I'd totally bend over and grab your foot, but I don't really have a way to not fall if I do that, so...
[and she doesn't have much trouble with that - hop hop hopping over on one foot, then managing her balance as she goes to retrieve her other leggy by the sock]
Mm... Помогал. I am happy you found help. Do you know why leg is gone...?
