sometimes people want to date people they find attractive so they can hold hands and cuddle and kiss and one day do the other stuff you're not interested in rn

they're just saying that you need to be clear about what you're wanting
so when you ask people to go on dates
make it very very very very very clear you want to go on a friend date with them
not a romantic date
since you're weird about wanting to call hanging out friends dates
if people assume its anything more, punch them in the nose and tell them to back off
