She'd know his hair sparkled already and would have been amazed by it, and his saying it had healing powers would have been met with that trusting sense of awe she has before she recognized that hey, wait a moment, Dante are you being an ass again...

But since she doesn't know him already, he's setting her up for something a little more mean-spirited, when she finds out he lied to her. And while most of the time he might not care, things are different when it's Anya.]

i'd say i LIKE maybe a handful of those people

and then out of those are the people i'd say are my friends

everyone's gotta start at the bottom and work their way up, that's all
