It's gonna take a lot more than that just to make me happy, though. But I'll find my own happiness someday, don't worry.

[ he's already satisfied with his current life, yes. just not too happy about it. but does it really matter in the long run? if he keeps chasing the things that makes him happy, it's not gonna help his career and future. he needs to be secure in those departments first before he can seek happiness.

like seriously now. happiness? in this economy? she really is too naive for her own good, and he's wondering if he's not teaching her the right things. he doesn't want to spoonfeed her since he already knows that she's more than capable - she has the potential after all - but is it truly enough? ]
