it's not that i don't want you to follow your dreams and all

it's just that... being an idol is more than just merely singing and dancing on stage while the audience waves their themed glowsticks at you
being an idol means giving up on other aspects of life
they're strict about their diets, the media becomes invasive about their lives
and you're not even allowed to fall in love
i mean you can but your fans will never let you because you're supposed to appeal to them
and that seems so restricting for someone who's as free-spirited as you

just wanted you to shine out there without all those retrictions
you don't deserve the skeevy parts of an industry that works you to the bone until there's nothing left of you
