puts his phone down, gets up, walks out of his room and goes to the kitchen. karkat opens his fridge? gets out some apple juice, grabs a cup, and pours it in.

he takes a sip. and then another, longer sip, before downing the glass and putting the rest of the juice jug in the fridge. karkat takes time to wash the cup and then sets it down to dry. he stays there for a moment after, staring blankly at the wall. there's a spot where the paint is peeling, they should touch that up soon? maybe remodel. he isn't sure if they're allowed to remodel an apartment.

after all of this, karkat feels ready to return to his room. he walks back, sits back down on his bed and picks up the phone again. ]

Look. It was just weird things?
Like in one I seemed to have accidentally killed some giant crab monster thing?
It wasn't just a huge crab. It was obviously some weird bullshit but I was really sad about it.
As if it was something I cared about a lot.
And then in another one, I was talking about having some weird blood mutation?
It had something to do with my people or something, and that it was really bad to have it and I had to keep it a secret.

with blood mutations ? and a giant crab monster friend
maybe it will not be bad
because in the end you are the same karkat yes ?
as long as you can breathe air then i think everything will be ok
