We're out of the lab now! You wouldn't believe where we ended up.

I'm trying to appreciate the view, but all I can think about is how I'm farther from you and home than ever. What are we working toward if we're just going away?
I guess I'm finally starting to feel homesick. Maybe? I've never felt that before. I just really wanna go back.
I'll try to enjoy everything as much as I can so I can tell you all about it later. This is a once in a lifetime event and all!
p.s. can you believe my stupid phone wasn't able to send a single message while we were making our way up here? Technology sucks
